Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

Whatifly lets visitors explore hypothetical scenarios generated by AI. This policy describes the current prototype. It should be reviewed and updated before introducing accounts, analytics, advertising, or paid plans.

Information you provide

When you submit a question, the text is sent to Whatifly’s server and to the AI provider to generate a response. Do not submit passwords, payment details, confidential information, or sensitive personal information.

AI processing

Your prompt is processed by OpenAI’s API under the applicable provider terms and settings. Whatifly does not intentionally save prompts or generated scenarios to a user account in this version because user accounts and saved history are not currently provided.

Technical data and security

The hosting provider and security services may process technical request data, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service. Whatifly uses request limits to reduce automated abuse. Rate-limit identifiers are hashed before being stored by the configured rate-limit service.

Cookies and tracking

The current version does not require an account to use the main features. This policy does not promise that hosting infrastructure uses no essential technical storage or logs. Any analytics, advertising cookies, or optional tracking should be disclosed here before being enabled.

Children

Whatifly is not designed to collect personal information from children. Do not submit information that identifies a child.

Changes

This policy may change as features are added. Before launch, the operator should add a monitored contact address and confirm the policy against the final hosting, AI, analytics, and data-retention configuration.
